An amazing thing happened Tuesday in the city of Grandview, Missouri. The group of rescuers managed to save the woman’s life, but it is only thanks to the quick reaction of 6-year-old girl.
Kristinia and her mother Mary spent a few hours on Saturday at the party under the open sky on the occasion of birthday.
«They stayed there for a couple of hours, and then I think they went to the nail salon,» said the grandmother of Kristinia, Vicki Hancock.
When they returned home, the girl said that her mother wasn’t acting as usual.
«I have measured its temperature, to understand if she is not cold, — said Cristina. I tried to give her some water but she refused. She lay down on the bed and just wept.»
Mary passed out. Kristinia called my grandma for help.
«As soon as I picked up the phone, she said,»Grandma, this is an emergency. It’s my mom. She does not speak or open eyes»».
«I was holding her hand. Mom lost consciousness. I cried,» said Christine.

Vicki called 911 and asked for Kristinia to open the door for paramedics. The girl did, and lifeguards quickly got to her mother, who suffered heat stroke.
Mom and daughter were outside only for an hour and a half, but without the use of liquids, Mary quickly overheated. After a few hours in the local hospital, Mary was better.
Grandview firefighters are going to award Kristinia for her amazing bold work on Tuesday.
