«We realized that we did not particularly need. All that we need, we can buy ourselves,» said Kelly. «We started to look for information about the different charity events that we could implement, and as a teacher I really liked the idea of buying school supplies. So I talked about it with Matt, and we decided to do it.»

Kelly’s husband supported her. Each guest was asked want to donate a backpack filled with school supplies.

Kelly, who has been a teacher for 7 years, told that all guests «received a small description of who they buy supplies, what size the backpack is and what exactly needs to be stationery.

All of the «gifts» were transferred to the elementary school and Booker T. Washington in Tampa. Kelly said the school where she works, do not need help, so she turned to an elementary school Booker T. Washington to learn what they need.

«As a teacher, I notice that not all children go to school with new things,» said Kelly. «And it is also noticeable that the children are always very excited about the little things: a backpack or new shoes. It is so important that each of them could be happy and many teachers even spend their money on their students.
