The patient was shot when he was in the ambulance in North Carolina

North Carolina man fatally wounded from firearms of the patient, who was in the ambulance.

The suspect, 32-year-old Prentice Bess, was arrested after police districts Charlotte Mecklenberg, responded to a report of the Days Inn hotel around 4:00 on Wednesday. Health workers assisted 34-year-old Jeremy Witedu in the ambulance, when Bess shot him. After the arrest and interrogation Bess was charged with murder.

«The officers were able to immediately detain the suspect.» — said in a statement to the police. «The paramedics are on the scene, was not injured.»

Medics arrived to the hotel, near which they met six people, after reports that one of them is suffering from breathing problems. During the inspection Whitted asked his friend to help him. Bess was not permitted in the ambulance, after which he retired, and, returning, shot several times in Witted. Whited was declared dead at the scene. Police are still investigating.
