The daughter, who was in an incestuous relationship with her own father, admitted that she helped him kill her boyfriend — and then illegally married her parent.
Amanda McClure, 31, and her father, Larry McClure, 55, tied up 38-year-old Thomas McGuire, hit him on the head with a bottle of wine, then injected him with a double dose of crystal meth, strangled him and hid his body in a shallow grave.
McClure confessed to killing McGuire on July 8 at a court hearing in West Virginia. In addition, she testified against her 32-year-old sister, Anna Marie Chowdhary, who is also charged with the McGuire murder.
Amanda and her father got married about a month after the murder, despite the fact that it was illegal. Investigators have not yet clarified the motives for the crime; McClure's versions vary.
McGuire's body was discovered near McClure's rented home in Skygasti, West Virginia in September 2019 — shortly after McClure, a registered sex offender, revealed the details of the murder to police. He then informed the authorities of his daughters' involvement in the crime, stating that Amanda was the «instigator.»
Amanda McClure is currently being held in Chisago, Minnesota prison and is preparing to testify against her sister.
Anna Marie Chowdhury is in custody awaiting trial in Boone, North Carolina, while the woman's father remains in Welch, West Virginia.
