Yesterday, July 6, at about 16 o’clock in the evening an armed man from the Bronx was trying to get into the Trump Towerto see the daughter of the President of Donald trump Ivanka.
As reported in police, detainee, 52-year-old Adames Benitez said that he was a US Senator and wants to talk with Ivanka trump about her clothing line. In addition, he also said that the owner of the building on Fifth Avenue between 56th and 57th streets.
But the Secret service at the Trump Tower noticed a bulletproof vest under his jacket and stopped the man. When the police arrived, during a search she found Benitez also two throwing knives and a fake ID.
The man was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital for psychiatric evaluation, after which he was arrested and charged with illegal possession of weapons and false documents.
