MTA hopes to fix the broken escalators on the Second Avenue Subway by Monday

One of the ways that subway passengers access to the new Second Avenue Subway — 4 escalator at 83rd Street and Second Avenue (86th Street Station) which were closed most of the week. Repair crews, MTA are currently working on fixing the problem. In the administration claim that I hope to have time to fix the escalators until Monday.

Of course, the station can be accessed by other means — for example, via the entrance on 86th Street and Second Avenue, but around still is not very convenient. Employees of the MTA redirect passengers to the inputs via the mezzanine.

Social media users expressed their outrage at the breakdown, lamenting the fact that the station and the escalators don’t work.
