About how modern Russia returns to the USSR

For more than three months, a special military operation has been going on in Ukraine. It is difficult to somehow relate to it unambiguously, at least on the one hand, I fully support it, tk. I understand well the reasons that led to it, on the other hand, war means sacrifice and destruction. And in principle, I have no doubts about the victory of Russia over Ukraine and I am inclined to believe that the military-political leadership of R.F. will not stop at Donbass and Southern Ukraine. Most likely, the central regions of the Ukrainian state will also pass under the full control of Russia, while the western ones will go to the Poles, Hungarians and other neighbors. And I estimate the prospect of the abolition of the Ukrainian state as equal to 99% of 100% this year or the region next year. In this connection, I began to feel more clearly that, in fact, the revival of the Soviet empire in the face of the Russian Federation is now beginning. Below are more than ten good reasons indicating that we are returning to the USSR.

So,

  • After the start of a special military operation against Ukraine, the mutual rejection between Russia and Western countries sharply increased. The ideological confrontation is beginning to resemble the times of the Cold War. Remember, in those years, there was always a thesis in the media about the decaying West, about the poverty of the middle class, and so on. We turn on the TV or read the federal media and again: anti-Russian sanctions have hit the West like a boomerang, inflation has reached double digits, many residents of the UK and the USA are at risk of falling below the poverty line …. The ruble continues to strengthen despite any sanctions, the Central Bank R.F. lowered the interest rate again, retailers are lowering the prices of goods ….. All that remains is to draw caricatures of the decaying West and hang them on the wall newspapers. In addition, at the interstate level, mutual reviews of ambassadors, closing of embassies. V.V. Putin threatens to strike at countries that interfere in Russia's affairs in Ukraine. Remember "kuzkina mother" Khrushchev? Or the Cuban Missile Crisis?
In general, the Cold War again.
  • The arrival of McDonald's in Russia marked the beginning of the economic interaction of the new Russia with the West. Almost 30 years later, McDonald's left Russia. Many large Western companies have left our country. And in the early 90s they entered the Russian market. Now they are leaving. In general, there is a break in economic ties. As we remember, there was no Western business in the USSR, in fact, it is gone even now.
  • Since it is difficult to live in the modern world without international economic cooperation, we are beginning to actively develop economic ties with China. The Chinese are our brothers again forever. Recall the corresponding poster of the USSR, which depicts a Russian and a Chinese symbolizing eternal friendship between the two states.
  • We now have neither political nor economic interaction with the West. We are starting to look for allies among the developing states, and they are going to meet us, the formation of a conditional coalition against the countries of the West. Russian officials report that all of Africa, Asia and Latin America are with us again, they support us politically and strive to develop economically. Sergei Lavrov successfully visits the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf, where he is told about great friendship and help in confronting the West. Let's remember how the USSR staked on the Arab countries. And now it's the same again. In total, we quarreled with the West and again, as in the years of the USSR, we are friends with Africa, Latin America and Asia.
  • We are again striving to become technologically independent from the West, the term "import substitution", and if after 2014 Russia was striving for this, now, in order to keep up technologically with the developed countries of the world, it will simply be forced to develop its technologies, so import substitution will only intensify . As a clear example of import substitution, one can name the words of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin that they are again going to produce the legendary Moskvich car. And the authorities of the Zaporozhye region started talking about the revival of the production of Zaporozhets cars.
  • In addition to the economic aspect, the restoration of the USSR can also be seen from the point of view of domestic politics. So, the elimination of the Memorial, which was called the conscience of post-Soviet Russia. The appearance of the Memorial on the ruins of the USSR marked the end of the era of totalitarian Soviet power, under which it was not difficult to sit down for one's beliefs that ran counter to the party line. As a matter of fact, the Memorial was engaged in the rehabilitation of political prisoners of the Soviet period. In modern Russia, there is almost nothing left of human rights organizations. And everyone who ideologically disagreed with the opinion of the Kremlin was either imprisoned, or squeezed out of the country under various pretexts, or labeled as a foreign agent. A vivid example of this is the dispersal of the headquarters of Alexei Navalny. I note that this figure is ambiguous, and I cannot say that I have sympathy for him, however, the criminal prosecution of people just because they were members of Navalny's headquarters …. this is clearly overkill. And those who did not have time to leave were forced to sit down for years …. In general, there is the formation of political dissidence and Russian emigration from those who do not agree with the Kremlin's course.
  • We all remember how much attention the Soviet government paid to the patriotic education of children and youth. Pioneer and October have not yet been restored, but I think this is a matter for the near future. I recently read that the state has allocated almost a billion rubles for state symbols in schools. And not only state symbols, but also the solemn raising of the flag and the performance of the anthem. When I was in school in the 90s, there was nothing like this.
  • And again, a vivid parallel with the USSR: the laws adopted by the State Duma on combating fakes and discrediting the actions of the armed forces of R.F. abroad. Not everyone agrees that our armed forces are located on the territory of a neighboring state, and not everyone believes that they behave correctly there, for example, in relation to the local population. But now it is impossible to speak out against a special military operation, as well as to disseminate information from Ukrainian or foreign media that contradict, for example, the statements of the Foreign Ministry or the Russian Ministry of Defense. How all this reminds me of the struggle with the so-called anti-Soviet elements, with those who did not believe in communism and socialism, in the correctness of the Soviet regime.
  • And again Afghanistan, more precisely Ukraine. Western countries actively supplied Afghanistan with all kinds of weapons with the aim that they be used against the Soviet army. Western instructors trained Afghan field commanders. And there was only one goal — to weaken the USSR with the help of a war on foreign territory. And here is modern Ukraine. I'm not going to talk about Viktor Yanukovych's appeal about the introduction of the military contingent of R.F. on the territory of Ukraine in order to curb the coup d'état. But here is the presence of NATO instructors on the territory of a neighboring state, the active supply of this state with all kinds of weapons, and all with one goal — to weaken Russia economically and politically at the expense of a war on the territory of another state.
  • There is no doubt that Russia will include in its composition not only the Donbass, but also all other regions of the Ukrainian state. In fact, Ukraine as a state will be liquidated. In the USSR, Ukraine did not exist as an independent state, it was simply a national republic, as Buryatia is now, for example. The same fate is in store for Ukraine. Just another republic within the new Russian Empire.
  • It is known that in the USSR Ukraine played one of the leading roles in economic terms. Without Ukraine, the USSR would not have been as powerful and strong as it was. Ukrainian black soil, industrial Donbass — all this will now work for the economic power of the new Empire, the new USSR.
  • And just like in the years of the USSR, Soviet, oh, Russian citizens go to rest in the all-Union health resort — in the Republic of Crimea.

  • Signs of the restoration of the former Soviet empire can also be seen in the desire of South Ossetia and Abkhazia to join the Russian Federation. Recall that during the years of the formation of the young Soviet state, some national republics sought to join the USSR. We are seeing the same thing now. One can treat the actual revival of the USSR in different ways. There is a lot of good in this, but a lot of bad, and the bad is that for an opinion that contradicts the course of the party, you can pay with a ruble, get the shameful status of a foreign agent, or sit down for many years. Many of my friends who do not agree with the formation of the new USSR have already left this country. The author of these
    lines also made his decision.
