Dancer at Rockefeller Center will replace a temporary mural

Nothing lasts forever in this world, especially the art installation on the streets of new York. After his hour of triumph a huge 13-meter ballerina retired for a well deserved rest on July 17, leaving the square at Rockefeller Center boring and unremarkable. But as they say, a Holy place is never empty, and the artist Jason Woodside has already placed his large-scale muralthat will adorn not only Big Apple, but for the Instagram account of any fan of modern art.

Graffiti is located on three walls, which formerly served as base for the ballerina (further proof that almost all junk can be recycled and reused). The artist from new York painted the mural using spray paint, right at Rockefeller Center, placing your art in front of the famous statue of Prometheus (which has its own secrets).

The mural will remain in place all week, so if you like to do selfi on the background of colorful pictures, we advise you to hurry. Of course, there’s always a chance that graffiti, like a ballerina, will remain «for a second term,» but relying on luck isn’t always the best option.
