On Saturday evening, around 19:30, passing through Brookville Boulevard , a white van crashed into the off-road vehicle Hyundai, which injured three passengers and three pedestrians. It happened in the area of Rosedale, Queens, near the Park of Brookville.

As said witnesses, after the van suddenly hit the rear of a blue Hyundai, the last driver lost control and hit two pedestriansbefore he could stop. Inside the SUV sat three people, they were traumatized.

In turn, a van knocked down a woman pedestrian, and then ran over her.

“We heard a loud noise, my sister screamed, and when I looked at what was happening, I saw flew up in the air lady, a van, a white van ran over it at high speed,” said a witness named Bernard.

Then the van turned into the Park, where it finally stopped, which contributed to the pondwhere the car plunged by almost half.

In a few minutes from the car emerged the driver, dressed in a white garment, resembling a robe of a pastor. It is noteworthy that one of the Windows of the van were written prayers.

Arrived on the scene the staff of the new York police Department arrested 53-year-old driver, but he resisted. When he was handcuffed, he shouted, “Hallelujah, praise Jesus, Hallelujah, praise Jesus!”

The incident caused injuries to six people, two of them are in critical condition, three in serious and one in stable. The victims were taken to the Northwell Health-Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Jamaica Hospital.

One of them was sent prisoner, to conduct a psychological evaluation. Its results while are unknown.

The hearing, during which a detained man will be charged, must pass today, July 30.
