Fans of unique architecture, Chicago will be able soon to go on tour about seven old buildings and sites of the city, which will soon disappear.

The organizers of the bus tour — Preservation Chicago. Each year, these activists release list of «endangered» attractions.

This time the tourists will show:
1. abandoned building Cornell Store and Flats, built in 1908,
2. the old Union Station powerhouse on the Chicago river,
3. district Madison Pulaski Commercial houses in Art Deco and art Nouveau,
4. the old part of Jackson Park,
5. sculpture at the Thompson Center
6. home 40 years in Altgeld Gardens
7. water reservoirs on lake Michigan that date back to the late XIX – early XX century.

All these buildings are under threat of extinction. Such excursions activists trying to draw attention to the old buildings in the hope that they will carry, and will repair or even rekonstruiruet in order to re-use.
