New bill: marijuana menstrual pain

In the legislature of the state of new York for discussion had passed a new billthat could make life easier for many women across the state.

582 legislative act provides for the introduction dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain) to the list of conditions required to obtain a prescription for medical marijuana under the program of state for health.

The bill is supported by a member of the Legislative Assembly, Linda Rosenthal. The document has already been approved by the Committee of health of the state, but has not yet reached discussion all staff meeting. In case of successful vote the bill will be submitted for signature to Governor Andrew Cuomo.

The use of medical marijuana in the state of new York continues to be extremely limited. However, the new bill would open up millions of inhabitants of new York access to this program.

Actress Whoopi Goldberg, which openly supports the legalization of marijuana, supported the idea of the bill 582, wanting to pay attention to how marijuana can really help women experiencing severe pain during menstruation. It is worth noting that the actress is the owner of the company Whoopi & Maya, which specializiruetsya in the production of medical marijuana specifically to relieve women’s pain.

To take effect, the bill 582 has yet to receive support in the Senate. But, given that almost 50% of the state’s population (as women live in new York) experience monthly menstrual pain, it would be cruel to deprive them of the ability to choose whether to use marijuana to ease their suffering or not.
