Technical artist from Manhattan has filed a lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend, demanding that she return the engagement ring worth 48 $ 300 and his dog.
42-year-old Joe Di Tomaso said he and Jamie Cohen, his former fiancee, got engaged in 2013 after two years of relationship. He bought her an expensive ring and spent another $ 12,000 on the furniture in the apartment.
But their relationship deteriorated and in June 2015, Cohen left, taking the man’s dog, blue, says Di Tomaso in his lawsuit.

Joe and Jamie met at work. After they broke up, the 36-year-old Cohen, when Di Tomaso was not home, took all the furniture out of the apartment in which the couple lived, and refused to return her engagement ring.
«To date, none of the objects and furniture were not returned Di Tomaso,» reads the lawsuit.
The man needs to return the ring, the furniture and the dog, as well as to pay damages in the amount of $ 65,000. «Di Tomaso got a dog before I moved in with the defendant,» reads his court papers. Di Tomaso has the right to return the dog.»
