Over the last few days the US President, Donald trump, and Korean leader Kim Jong UN with great enthusiasm to exchange escalation of threats, creating a more than plausible reason to panic. Many U.S. residents began to fear that the missiles North Korea hit the United States, and they are not particularly confused by the fact that they don’t know where exactly is North Korea.
«The topic of North Korea have been actively discussing in recent weeks, and maybe even the last year,» said Jimmy Kimmel during a new episode of the show «Jimmy Kimmel Live!» aired on Tuesday evening. «But I wonder how many Americans know where is North Korea?».
To answer this serious question, Kimmel sent his team on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, which asked average Americans some geography questions. The result of this venture was very entertaining.
Team Kimmel started a quiz with the question whether the United States to take military action if North Korea becomes a real threat to US security. Most people surveyed said «Yes». Then these same people were asked to show North Korea on the map, and that’s where the fun began. Respondents tried to get a finger to the sky, asked that North Korea was everywhere from Australia to the Middle East. One girl, who admitted that she isn’t good with geography, and all pointed to Canada. We can only hope that she was joking, because North Korea in Canada is really scary.
