Dog rescued from a shelter in South Korea, waiting for their new caring owners in new York. Thanks to the coordinated work of activists of the Free Korean Dogs, 10 dogs arrived in the city Wednesday, and many of them escaped the fate of becoming someone’s dinner (no racism, ladies and gentlemen, in Korea there is a demand for dog meat).
The shelter from which you pulled poodles, located in the Korean city Chinchero in the province of Gyeongsangnam-do. Some of the animals were born in the shelter, others picked up on the streets. Given that they hardly would have taken the family dogs were waiting for a terrible fate: either to be back on the streets or turn into a commodity on the meat market.
Currently the animals are in the keeping of volunteers in Brooklyn and Queens, however, as all living (and quite reasonable) beings, they need a permanent home. All dogs are poodles or métis ancestry of this breed, so they will become faithful companions or intelligent partners in the games.
To meet the dog will be this weekend at the event «ModeLine invasion» in a pet store, PS9 Pet Supplies in Williamsburg (Saturdays: noon to 5 PM; Sunday: hour of the day to 5 PM).
