Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has donated $ 100,000 to one of the organizations to combat hatred, while stating that anti-Semitic and racist marches, which took place in Charlottesville this weekend, led him in horror.
«While these so-called «white nationalists» are fortunate to live in a country that protects their right to Express their horrible, wrong, and hateful opinions, we must use the voices and all of our resources in order to fight hatred and preach tolerance, «writes in his Facebook statement to Schwarzenegger. «My message to them is simple: you can’t win. Our voices louder and stronger.»
The donation of the Governor was sent to the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a non — governmental organization that aims to protect human rights, fight terrorism, anti-Semitism and Holocaust education.
He also encouraged others to donate to organizations fighting against national and racial intolerance.
Rabbi Marvin IER, founder of the Wiesenthal Center, said that Schwarzenegger has supported the organization for more than 30 years, adding that they had never been proud of Arnold more than in that moment, when he urged all to send their forces to fight with hatred.
