A resident of Canadawho lost his wedding ring 13 years ago, now again proudly wearing it after her daughter-in-law found glory on the carrot.

In 2004, Mary grams weeded the beds at their family farm, when after work, I discovered that he had lost the engagement ring.

The search was futile, the woman accepted the loss, but admitted that her husband, Norman, in order not to upset him.

She ordered a cheap fake (the real ring was diamonds) and wore it all these years. Sam Norman died five years ago, and 84-year-old Mary moved from the farm. There are living her son and daughter-in-law, Colin Daly.

As reported by the Associated Press, Colin with his dog was in the garden, where he dug up carrots for dinner. «One looked strange, and I have already decided to leave her dog when she noticed that the vegetable…something shiny,» says Colin. She showed the ring to my husband and he immediately guessed whose it is. They immediately called Mary.

«I told her: we found the ring, and she couldn’t believe it. It’s amazing how carrots grow so well through it,» says Colin.

When Mary began to wear jewelry on the finger, it slid in as easily as many years ago when her husband brought the marriage vows and wearing his wedding ring.
