225-year-old (oldest in USA) the monument to Christopher Columbus in Baltimore smashed by unknown vandals.
They also made a recording that appeared on YouTube.
In the video, two people, one of which hit the monument in something like a hammer and attaches to the inscription: «the Future of racial and economic justice.» The second was standing next to monument holding a sign: «Racism. Knock it down».
Over unknown said, «Christopher Columbus symbolizes the invasion of European capitalism in the Western hemisphere. It started with a long wave of terrorism, murder, genocide, rape, slavery and capitalist exploitation».
We will remind, last week in Baltimore dismantled four of the monument dedicated to the confederates. About Columbus speech yet was not.

As reported by ABC7, the speaker of the city Council Melissa mark-Viverito wants the city made a statue of Christopher Columbus at Columbus Circle in the number of «controversial», which in the end can be dismantled.
Earlier, mayor bill de Blasio requested the task force 90 days to make recommendations on «controversial» sites of new York.
Mark-Viverito argues that the list needs to be made to the Columbus monument because of its «cruel and bloody past.»
