«Summer of hell» for passengers of new York will end on September 5

Repair work on the station and Penn Station are on schedule and nearing completion. September 5 this year, the «summer of hell» for passengers will be over — reported Assotiated Press.

«We thank customers for their patience all the time, until we’ve upgraded and repaired infrastructure at Penn Station,» — said Vice-President of Amtrak Vic Murman.

Recall the «summer of hell» lasted seven weeks. During this time, the station changed the road, the road traffic lights and other mechanisms.
