The incident happened in the afternoon, about 16 hours, in the East Village, at the subway station Broadway-Lafayette. The girl climbed over the fence and crept along the beams, where the villages are directly over the rails, at a height of about 20 feet.

«We just watched and this guy took it and followed her,» says an eyewitness, Michael Klein from new Jersey. «Everyone crowded at the bottom and watched as he gently spoke to her. It is unlikely that they were familiar with, he was obviously random passers-by who decided to help. I just heard her talking about it, no one cares, and he hugged her.»

Soon arrived , the policedispersed the crowd of onlookers, and the girl with the guy have removed from the beams. It was transferred to the EMTs and was taken to the hospital.

«I just hope she will get help,» adds Klein.
