Airline Qantas Air will pay for the passport fee

According to the state Department, to date, the size of the passport fee is $55 to $165. Updating the document in the form of a card will cost $55, in the form of books — $135, and both $165.

A valid passport you will need for any trips abroad, and residents of the States of Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Washington — even for flights within the country (relevant rule will come into force on 22 January 2018).
