Every country has their own special holidays, analogues of which you will not find anywhere else in the world. In the U.S. this annual event is Groundhog day (February 2) in which thousands of people gather in Pennsylvania just to watch the sleepy Groundhog named Phil is chosen from his burrow to see (or not see) his shadow. If the Groundhog sees his shadow, winter will last six more weeks, and if not, then spring will come early. At least, so the legend goes.
Like any self-respecting Groundhog, Phil is not very sympathetic to a lot of people, so he often hurry back to their hideout to hide from public attention and quietly Dospat put him time.
