International airport Los Angeles ranked 5th in the world in respect of flight schedules

International airport Los Angeles (LAX) took 5th place in the world and 3rd place in the USA with respect to the flight schedules. LAX has completed more than 30 million flights in 2018. According to OAG, of 79.95% of these flights the airport is completed on time.

Ratings Punctuality League-2019 based on 58 million records of flights in 2018. OAG defines the timely departure of a flight as one that arrives or departs within 15 minutes after the scheduled time of arrival or departure. Charter and cargo flights were not considered.

Delaying departure could lead to increased emissions of carbon not only delayed the aircraft, but other aircraft that are affected by this congestion.
