Boy lost for 5 days in the wilderness, ate crickets, and wrote a farewell letter to his pregnant wife

In Montana alive was 25-year-old Caden Lag that got lost in the wilderness on the border with Idaho and survived 5 days, feeding on crickets and berries.

25-year-old Utah resident went missing in the wilderness of Selva-Bitterroot during a trip on horseback with your family.

When one of the horses was lame, Caden said that he would go on foot, but took a wrong turn and missed the meeting place with family, then finally lost.

Five days later, guy found a rescue to find their camp with a lantern, left by one of the search engines.

According to Caden, these five days were the most difficult in his life. He said that one night it was so cold that he thought he would surely die, and even wrote a short letter to his pregnant wife, Arden.

«I just wrote: if I don’t get out of here, you know I love you. I loved my life with you, and I’m sorry that I left you a single mother».

According to the guy, he several times saw a helicopter over head, but he flew in the other direction.

Caden had survived by drinking water from streams, eating berries and crickets. Family guy and his wife expressed gratitude for the support of the community.

On Friday Arden wrote in Facebook that Caden joked when we found.

«My Caden finally home. He took a shower about an hour!», — wrote guy’s wife.

The Caden added that was simply overwhelmed by the efforts made by people to find him.

«It’s the love and care from complete strangers. Thank you so much for your support! I’m so happy to be alive,» said Caden.

His wife added that they «will give all the donations back to the community.»

She also posted pictures of Caden with two lifeguards, Brett and Robyn, who promised that she and her husband will name their children after them.
