Passengers of these airlines are allowed to carry their own laptops

Good news for those who are going on vacation and no idea how to do the same on the road without her beloved laptop. Airlines Emirates and Turkish airlines joined Etihad in overcoming the ban on the transportation of laptops and other gadgets, larger mobile phones, introduced in the U.S. in March. The ban only covered 180 airlines serving 280 airports in 105 countries.

However, on 28 June, the Department of homeland security United States said that the airline can be excluded from the ban on electronics, if you impose stricter security measures in check of crew, passengers and baggage prior to departure at airports.

This statement was the impetus for many airlines, some of which already take advantage of the opportunity. They were the previously mentioned Emirates, Etihad and Turkish airlines.

Among the additional security measures imposed by airlines — an increase in the number of «dogs» extending the capabilities of the three-dimensional scanning of baggage, more thorough checkpoint inspection. However, the list of all the new technologies and security measures are kept secret.
