Video where a man severely slapped the seal, has angered members and interested police

Video app TikTok was published shocking footage: man crept up to the sleeping on the beach to the seal-the monk with force slapped him on the back and quickly ran away. This trick has caused outrage Internet users and residents of the Hawaiian Islands, where the incident occurred.

Federal bodies of marine flora and fauna in Hawaii are currently investigating the video, and the person who posted it, has already apologized.

The video was posted by Eric Musaevym. It quickly went viral after they were shared on Instagram Hungry Hungry Hawaiian.

He said: «I would like to publicly apologize for the video, which popped the seal. I published it when I was in Hawaii. I find it hard to find the right words, because I was completely wrong. First of all, I would like to inform you that it’s not me in the video. However, I don’t even have a fraction of a second, to think that this is normal. Because of this situation, I realized the importance of learning the local culture before you come into someone’s beautiful home. I understand that the problem with tourists have been before, and I have to admit that did not help in its solution.»

Mostovoy refused to disclose who was the man in the video, and said his family and friends received threats because of this publication.

He added: «I sincerely regret the harm I inflicted and shown contempt. Please feel free to contact me if you want to discuss this issue. Authorities have already contacted me, they’re investigating the incident».

Mostovoy claimed that his friend was not going so much to slap an animal — he only wanted to lightly touch him.

«I was just off. I didn’t know what was going to happen and what is not. It all happened suddenly. We were not supposed to do that.»

At the moment the investigation is ongoing.
