In London the court of the dispute between mother and daughter with the staff of Swiss Air, who were not allowed to take the stroller into the cabin. The dispute escalated into a fight on Board.
53-year-old Mary Roberts, her daughter, 23-year-old Henrietta Mitare, and 3-year-old daughter Henrietta was the passengers of flight from Zurich to London on 2 may 2019.
According to the BBC, according to the Prosecutor Arlen De Silva, Mitare didn’t want to put the stroller in the Luggage compartment, because that «too expensive» and argued with the crew, but her mother stepped in to smooth over the situation before takeoff.
However, after landing at Heathrow airport in London (UK) Mitare resumed the dispute and asked the chief flight attendant Ali Charda to name all of the staff so she could file a complaint at the way she’s been treated.
Then, according to Khardaha, captain Guido keel came out of the cockpit to resolve the situation, but Mitari said the Keel is not to intervene.
The flight attendant said in court in West London:
«She [Mitara] said that the Swiss are racist as she is «not a white woman» and when the captain asked her to go out, she told him not to touch her. Then there was a scandal and a fight after which the pilot left scratches on the face and hand and a bite on the forearm».
According to the Prosecutor, the mother of Henrietta is also included in the cockpit and kicked the captain on the floor, pushed her daughter.
The fight was stopped by the co-pilot Friedrich Prieler, who told the court that, in accordance with the Tokyo Convention, the captain of the aircraft has a certain immunity to his plane if he has to protect the safety of passengers.
Both women after the incident in Heathrow airport and was arrested. As the couple denies allegations of disobeying the lawful commands of aircraft pilot and assault charges. The trial goes on.
