Coronavirus in the USA: passenger showed in the video almost empty cabin on the flight

Passenger flight from salt lake city (Utah) in Orlando (Florida) on Monday published a video in social networks where it is noticeable that the cabin is almost empty, because the number of cases of coronavirus in the United States continues to grow.

Center for control and prevention of diseases USA (CDС) recommends that older Americans, and those who have health problems avoid long flights and cruises.

Both American and foreign airlines reduced the flight schedule, including Delta, which plans to cut domestic flights by 15% and international flights by 25%.

Delta also waives fees for changes in both international and domestic flights until 30 April (if the ticket was issued before March 9) and allows travelers «a one-time change of travel plans» if their flights include Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul, or any city of Italy until may 31.

Company American Airlines plans to cut domestic flights by 7.5% in April and international – 10%. The German company Lufthansa, one of Europe’s largest airlines have reduced their flights by half.

As of Tuesday evening, 10 March, more than 1,000 Americans have been infected with a coronavirus, and 30 people died.
