You will hear the story of how in one of the bedrooms stayed three presidents, or that in the house there is the oldest in the country, a bowling alley, the House reflects the principles of Andrew Jackson Downing, a leading trendsetter in the nineteenth century. Roseland cottage is located in Woodstock, Connecticut, at 556 Route 169. It is open for visits from 1 June to 15 October, Wednesday to Sunday, from 11 am to 4 PM. Tickets: $10 – adults $9 – seniors, $5 children.
