This road is in Idaho Springs, State of Colorado, and stretches 4.3 km in height. It is the tallest paved road in all of North America and the view from above is breathtaking.

The steepest public street in the States is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. No other road compares to it in terms of slope. Canton Avenue brake gradient is 37 degrees.
Tail of the Dragon

This route runs through the mineral deposits in Utah and Colorado. Along the way, you can see archaeological excavations and quarries, where the bones of ancient animals are still found.
Great River Road
The little-explored road, 482 km long, captures South Louisiana and Northern Minnesota. It extends through major cities such as New Orleans, Memphis and St. Louis. Therefore, there is definitely something to see along the way.
