Built in 1947, this manor house stands on an "enchanted hill" 8 km from the ocean. The castle has 19 living rooms, 56 bedrooms and 61 latrines. On the territory there are tennis courts, several swimming pools, a cinema, an airfield and a private zoo, which is the largest in the world. Hearst Castle belonged to the creator of one of the largest publishing and media empires in the United States, Randolph Hearst.
Belvedere Castle in New York />
This castle is located in New York's Central Park. Built in 1865, the attraction features an observation deck that allows visitors to enjoy the view.
Iolani Palace in Honolulu, Hawaii
This castle is nothing more than the residence of the royal family. Until 1893, the palace was home to the rulers of the Hawaiian Islands. The building later became the Capitol. Today, Iolani Palace is open to the public.
Nemours Mansion and Garden in Wilmington, Delaware
This castle houses 18th century art, antiques and French furniture. There are several gardens around it. From May to September, anyone can visit this attraction with a tour that lasts approximately three hours.
Lyndhurst in Tarrytown, New York
Constructed in the Gothic style, this castle is a national monument. It is surrounded by a beautiful park covering an area of 27 hectares.

Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina
This castle was built in 6 years and opened in 1895. It contains 250 rooms. Over the past 40 years, a hotel, a shopping center and a winery have been operating on the estate. Another hotel has opened. Today, the Biltmore is one of the most beautiful vacation spots not only in North Carolina, but in the United States.
Balboa Park in San Diego, California
It will take a week to fully see all the sights of this place. There are a dozen museums, 16 different gardens, theaters, a miniature railroad and a carousel on the castle grounds.
Bushnell Park in Hartford, Connecticut
This is the first state-funded park in the States. The castle has existed since 1868. Today, the park is valued at $70 million.
Boldt Castle in Alexandria Bay, New York
Tourists love this castle very much. It was built in the early 20th century on Hart Island. The famous American architect with German roots, George Boldt, was involved in the sights project. Apparently, the castle got its name in his honor.
