Carlsbad Caverns
There is an incredibly beautiful place in New Mexico. It is a limestone cave, which was once part of an underwater reef in the inland sea. The approximate age of this formation is 250-280 million years. Today, two trails are open to visitors to explore the Carlsbad Caverns.
Hamilton Pool Nature Reserve
There is a place in Texas that looks like Neverland. This is Hamilton Pool — an azure blue pool under a vast limestone vault. From above, a waterfall flows into it, creating a mesmerizing landscape that is too good to be true. Thousands of years ago, the dome of an underground river collapsed due to erosion, giving life to a natural wonder called Hamilton Pool.
Chimney Rock
On the vast expanses of the prairies of Nebraska, Chimney Rock appears out of nowhere — a monolith that looks more like a sculpture created by nature. In the days of expansion, this mountain served as a landmark on the Oregon Trail. The long thin spire is covered with volcanic ash and rises on a layer of coarse clay 146 meters above the valley of the Platte River. Today, Chimney Rock is a National Historic Landmark.
Badlands National Park
South Dakota is a very beautiful state and is famous not only for its presidential monolith. Badlands — one of the decorations of this area. The national park boasts a diverse landscape with sharp hills and peaks against the backdrop of virgin prairies. It is home to numerous wild animals. This is a favorite place for travelers who like to watch birds, admire the stars and take beautiful photos. In the icy waters of Lake Superior in Wisconsin, wild islands are scattered, nicknamed by the locals Apostles. They are a series of sea caves with emerald green pools, deserted beaches and lighthouses. Getting to these islands is not easy. But they definitely deserve attention and visits. Efforts will be rewarded with fabulous landscapes that will open before your eyes.
Glory Hole
This is one of the most unique waterfalls in the States. A stream flowing through the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas has cut a hole in a rocky cliff, creating a makeshift waterfall. Glory Hole is not very high, but it definitely stands out from the rest. It flows over the rock, not falls off it. And it is round in shape, which is definitely unusual. You can admire the waterfall all year round, but in winter it freezes, turning into a column. And this picture is even more breathtaking.

And although they are not the highest in the world, they are no less magnificent. Mammoth Cave National Park the largest network of underground caves in the world, located in Kentucky. It is 643 kilometers long, and recently Mammoth Cave became even longer after the Cave Research Foundation discovered an additional 8 miles of passages. These caves are like an entrance to an otherworldly underworld that deserves attention.
Rainbow Bridge and Waterfall at Watkins Glen
This is the most popular park in New York and for good reason. The famous bridge and waterfall look so beautiful that you can't believe they are real. The trails run through green forests with stone stairs, hidden caves and flowing waterfalls. Watkins Glen is the best place to visit in the States to feel like you're in Tolkien's works.
Acadia National ParkThe pearl of the North Atlantic coast is located at the very edge of the US East in Maine. Acadia National Park offers wonderful panoramas that will take your breath away. To the unprecedented beauty of the park is added the iconic Bass Harbor Head Light, towering over the Atlantic. It stands on a mountain, which is the highest point on the East Coast. At certain times of the year, Acadia is the first place in the States where you can see the sunrise. This national park is one of the most amazing places in the country.
Mendenhall Glacier

Alaska impresses with its beauty and unearthly landscapes. Its pearl is rightfully considered the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau. It contains natural ice caves with a frozen kingdom inside. The length of the underground passages is 22 kilometers, and the total area is 98 square kilometers.
Aurora Borealis in Fairbanks

There, in Alaska, you can admire the light show created by nature itself. Everyone should see the dynamic movement of color in Fairbanks at least once in a lifetime. The peak of this spectacle falls in September, and the season lasts until April. Multi-colored lights dance in the dark sky, leaving no one indifferent around.
Volcanoes National Park

Hawaii is a favorite destination for many tourists and not only from the USA. Even the indigenous people of this state are not averse to visiting the islands and exploring their secrets. The Big Island is home to the Volcanoes National Park. Two of them are active. Visitors get incredible emotions at the sight of erupting lava that flows directly into the ocean.
