In the southwest of California will develop fire hazard conditions

On a weekend in California expected fire conditions. This will contribute to high temperatures in combination with gusty winds.

According to forecasts by the National weather service, Friday through Tuesday in the valleys, mountains and coastal areas of the state will be dry, the air warms to a minimum of 26°C and the average wind speed reaches 50 mph. Forecasters warn about the increased risk of fires in South-Western areas, particularly in the counties of Los Angeles and Ventura.

According to the National center of oceanic and atmospheric research, in the beginning of next week will be even hotter.

On Tuesday, record high temperatures are expected in Los Angeles (39°C), long beach (39°C), woodland hills (41°C) Pasadena (40.5°C), Acton (39.5°C), Santa INES (38°C).

The local residents are advised to drink plenty of water and stay indoors from 11:00 to 16:00.

Note that strong winds and a heatwave in early October led to massive fires in Northern California that could not completely extinguish until now. The disaster has covered an area of 246 acres, claimed 42 lives and destroyed 7 thousand buildings.
