Weather in new York: prepare for the storm and flash floods

Bad weather will ruin the people of new York end the weekend and start of the work week: meteorologists warn of heavy rainfall and squally winds are expected in the state for two days.

The rain will be on Sunday, however, the most abundant they will become in the second half of the day. According to forecasts by the National weather service, at this time in different parts of the state will drop from 375 to 1,000 mm of rain. In particular, the Big Apple places will flood on 625 mm.

In new York city, long island and Connecticut is expected to a devastating wind — speed gusts can reach 48 km/h.

In the beginning of next week the storm will subside, but not stop completely. During the day the rain is replaced by sunshine, but the wind will increase up to a speed of 64-80 km/h.
