Weather in California: rainfall and 12 inches of snow

Recently, California residents suffered from the heat wave, but in early November, autumn has finally come into its own.

The weekend will bring cool weather, heavy rainfall and even snow. The storm has already covered the Golden state from the North, where recently there was a series of large-scale fires. In Friday it started to rain, which, by the middle of the weekend could trigger landslides in burned areas.

In the mountains of Sierra Nevada precipitation will fall as snow. According to the forecast of Accuweather, at higher elevations, from 6000 to 7000 feet above sea level, snow cover reaches 6-12 inches. In the foothills of possible flooding.
