Forecasters recorded in Central Park – 4.5 cm (1.8 inches) of snow at LaGuardia airport – 3.5 cm (1.4 inches) in the city of Hoboken, new Jersey, – (3,81 cm) 1.5 inches in new Canaan, Connecticut, 4.5 cm (1.8 inches).

According to the National weather service, the most snow fell in the County of orange, state of new York – 7.6 cm (3 inches).

Authorities warned residents of the County of ocean, new Jersey, and some parts of long island of the impending winter storm.

Day the temperature in new York rose to three degrees Celsius (37,4 F) and at night down to -1 (30 F). Despite the high temperature, due to the almost incessant rain, the snow will not have time to melt.

Meteorologists predict the temperature increase Sunday and early next week to 4-5 degrees Celsius (40 F). And starting next Tuesday there is a possibility of another snowfall. Due to an approaching cold front, the temperature may again drop to -1 (30 F).
