Weather in new York: prepare for heavy rain and significant warming

The end of the week will allow new Yorkers to relax from the cold, but good weather can not be counted. Forecasters warn of heavy rain which will cover most of the state.

According to the forecast of National weather service, precipitation is expected Friday through the first half Saturday, the most intense they will be on 12 January from 16:00 to 21:00.

In the Big Apple, Newark and on long island will drop from 1.75 to 2 inches of rain, and in Denbury, Bridgeport, new haven and new London — up to 2.25.

The Arctic front that covered a large part of the United States before Christmas, finally passed and carried away a pretty annoying cold.

Humidity will be accompanied by a significant increase in temperature. By Friday the thermometer will reach 14.4 °C (58 °F), so by the evening the remaining snow has completely melted.
