Today, January 17, «system clipper» came to the tri-state area (NY, NJ and CT), therefore in the morning the inhabitants of the region were able to observe a snow shower.
At the beginning of the day you can see about 1-2 inches (2.5-5 cm) of snow in new York and along the northeast coast. And on the North and West the Big Apple, the Hudson valley and Connecticut got about 2-4 inches (5-10 cm).
Region to the North of the 84 freeway is four to eight inches (8 cm). In these areas, in principle, the temperature will keep below zero, so a large amount of snow melt.
Storm warnings were issued for parts of new York and new Jersey.
