On 25 January the Governor Andrew Cuomo the meeting was held, which was attended by over 100 local officials. They discussed the situation related to ice jam and possible flooding because of the thaw, the Associated Press reports.
According to Cuomo, in 50 places of the state, where ice jams and possible flooding, directed the evaluation teams from the members of the National guard, and experts in transportation, public utilities and the military.
Recall, ice jams this winter has caused problems in the districts Warren (Warren), Oneida (Oneida) and Schenectady (Schenectady).
