Warning snow storm already operating in 28 States from Texas to Maine.
In the Midwest — in the Iowa, Nebraska and Missouri — the weather has been the cause of many accidents in which 13 people were killed, according to ABC News.
Only in Iowa last Monday was 185 accidents. Near Ames encountered about 30 cars, which led to the closure of the stretch of highway I-35. Another major accident occurred West of des Moines, the state capital. They faced two dozen cars. In des Moines February 5, fell more than 5.4 inches of snow — a record number for the city over the past few years.
Not spared the bad weather and Illinois. So, at the international airport O’hara in Chicago canceled more than 460 flights, according to Reuters.
Today, 6 February, a snow storm would strike in the Rocky mountains and passes on to the Great Lakes and South to the Ohio valley and Northern Arkansas.
In Texas and Tennessee it’s not gonna snow, but expected heavy rains, thunderstorms and wind gusts.
By Wednesday morning, according to forecasts of weather forecasters, the storm will reach the region of the North-East: Philadelphia, New York, Washington and Boston area. In some areas of new York will fall to feet (30.5 cm) of snow.
