The authorities of new York reported that hundreds of flights were canceled or delayed at airports in Big Apple due to the bad weather. An unprecedented snow storm has caused the cancellation of nearly 100 flights in Kennedy Airport and more than 100 flights LaGuardia Airport.

Several airlines, collaborating with JFK refused charging passengers for cancellation or change of departure time in connection with bad weather.

Average flight delays at the airport LaGuardia in the morning of Wednesday was about 1 hour.
