On Friday, April 20, the State Department of health has deployed a medical team to Kauai to help people in the most flood-affected areas because of concerns about dirty water.

«These floods spread dirt and will cause anxiety for a long time», stated Dr. Janet Berreman, who heads the Department of health Kauai, noting that people should regularly wash with soap and water after contact with flood water and make bandages to all open wounds or cuts.

The us army and the national guard transported more than 220 people from dangerous areas to a safe place on Monday, April 16. Last weekend in connection with the cataclysm several houses and roads were completely destroyed, and people were sitting without food in a red cross shelter.

As reported by the national weather service, the earth still hasn’t dried, so the sudden flash floods only a small amount of rain.

Now in Kauai rain stopped, but the island’s residents remain in shelters and homes surrounded by water. The flood also led to the fact that the bison ran away from the farm.
