School bus driver saved from hurricane «Florence,» more than 60 cats and dogs

51-year-old trucker Tony Alsop of Grinbek (tn) went to South Carolina on an old school bus to take the animals left in shelters in the path of the devastating hurricane «Florence».

Monday, September 10, when the hurricane has not yet reached the coast, Alsup traveled to orphanages in 4 cities of South Carolina (North Myrtle beach, Dillon, Georgetown and Orangeburg), took 53 dogs and 11 cats and brought to the shelter city of Foley (al). From there, stray animals will be distributed to shelters across the country who agree to accept them.

«It’s all true. Tony arrived at 4 am on Wednesday to pick up our “leftovers” — dogs with fleas and heart worms. Those whom one never take. And took them to a safe place. Not the usual evacuation, but, undoubtedly, the most impressive,» wrote Facebook in a shelter Saint Frances Animal Center, where Tony evacuated 23 dogs.

By the way, this is not the first «rescue operation» by Tony Alsop. Last year a man moved many animals from the hurricane zones in Texas, Florida and even Puerto Rico. It was his calling, although it all began with a misunderstanding.

During the hurricane «Harvey» that has swept across Texas in late August of 2017, Tony saw a posting on the Internet, where volunteers asked for help in evacuating animals from shelters. He agreed to help, but was sure to carry in your trailer just a few Pets. In fact, it turned out that dozens of them!

«I’m a man of my word. If promised, I will bring the matter to an end,» said Greenville News helmsman «Noah’s ark». To be sure that all Pets are fit, he bought for $3.2 thousand old school bus and went to Texas.

Since Tony travels to all the disaster areas, saving our smaller brothers. It gives him joy. And one day he wants to open his own animal shelter, writes the Washington Post.
