«Severe storms will break out on Thursday afternoon in Western Pennsylvania and new York, before spreading further East on Thursday evening, said AccuWeather meteorologist Alyson of Hugh. Some of these storms can cause floods in low-lying areas and where there is poor sanitation.»
AccuWeather meteorologists are also concerned that storms can cause hail and destructive winds.

«Everyone who starts their holiday weekend early, must follow the sky as these storms could impact travel and delays at airports,» said Hugh.
Cities that could be affected by storms include Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati (Ohio); Pittsburgh; Morgantown (West Virginia); Syracuse and Buffalo (new York). According to the National weather service in new York, severe thunderstorms will take place day and night.
