Shortly before dawn on Tuesday, March 3, the Tennessee was struck by a tornado, resulting in hundreds of homes and buildings were destroyed, killing at least 24 people.

Crane operator Jason Nash is stuck on the crane in 375 feet (114 meters) above the ground when a tornado struck Nashville, and directed the eerie video.

In the video, Nash is drawn to someone by the name of Karl – perhaps your wife or girlfriend and says he loves her. Fortunately, Nash managed to escape.

It was the deadliest tornado in Tennessee for seven years, and the southern state is located to the North of Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia declared a state of emergency.

The storm came rapidly. The residents of East Nashville was only about six minutes to prepare and get to a safe place.

«I got a warning, and in less than ten minutes we felt the pressure, I like burst eardrums in the ears, we all ran downstairs, told WSMV channel Daniel Theophilus, a local resident. — It went so fast.»

It is unknown exactly how many tornadoes struck the Tennessee, or was it the same tornado that hit several areas.

More than 35,000 customers of Nashville Electric Service are still without electricity, and emergency crews have difficulties with access to affected areas due to destroyed and damaged lines. Schools remain closed as a precaution.

After the storm, rescuers searched collapsed buildings in the hope of finding the missing people, and about 150 people were taken to hospital for treatment of injuries caused by the storm.
