According to AP, three men were killed by carbon monoxide poisoning in a park in Port Arthur, Texas, from a generator they brought into their home while hiding from Laura.

The first person killed was David Murrell, 54, in East Texas. Murrell died Thursday when a tree fell on his mobile home in Toledo Bend Reservoir near Hemphill, Lloyd said.

The storm also caused four tornadoes. Laura is still a tropical storm, but already losing her strength. However, Laura still rains heavily and new tornadoes are likely to appear.
