Hurricane Isaiah Reaches Florida Saturday

Storm Isaiah was declared a hurricane by the National Hurricane Center Thursday night after it reached the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, causing massive power outages.

As of July 30, Isaiah's maximum wind force was 80 m / h. This makes it a Category 1 hurricane.

According to the center, «there is a risk of high winds, heavy rains and storm surges» along the east coast of the United States: in Florida during the weekend, and in North and South Carolina during the week.

#Isaias is now a hurricane based on data from the Air Force Hurricane Hunters. The intensity forecast shows a stronger storm than before, but the track forecast is unchanged. Go to https://t.co/tW4KeFW0gB for details. pic.twitter.com/tXraiehHMX
