A tropical wave that brought record rains yesterday in South Florida is already beginning to recede. Meanwhile, from the East to the beaches of Miami is more dry and warm air.
«Most of South Florida has already started to dry. Today the weather is back to our usual daily thunderstorms, and this should help to reduce the amount of precipitation,» — said the expert of the National weather service Robert Garcia.
According to him, in Miami international airport dropped 5 inches of rain. The rainstorm of the day broke the record, which previously was more than 2 inches in 2012. In areas of Miami-Dade and Broward were also recorded heavy precipitation, constituting about 3 inches near lakes of Miami Lakes and Weston.
