In the speech, which lasted more than three hours, XI said that China has entered a «new era», where it should occupy a «Central position in the world». He said that «socialism with Chinese characteristics» led to the fact that China has become a «great power» and that his «prosperous» economic model gave the possibility of a «new choice» for developing countries.
Do not forget the leader of the country to mention the pressing issues. Si said that among the «dark» issues to be addressed are: the income gap between different segments of the population, problems in employment, education, medical care and some other areas.
The leader stressed that the country will support the policy of «one China» and will not allow Taiwan independence.
XI Jinping has also promised to establish «total control over the Internet» to ensure «purity and light global network.»
At the end of his speech, XI Jinping urged the party actively to oppose separatism and any attempt to undermine the idea of national unity.
