According to police estimates, the March was attended by about 60 thousand people, which is one of the biggest gatherings of the extreme right in Europe in recent years.

The marchers chanted: «White Europe of the fraternal peoples», «Clean Poland white Poland», «Refugees get out!». Over the bridge was hung a banner, «Pray for the Islamic Holocaust.»

Some demonstrators also marched with placards: «We want God» — words from old Polish religious song which, among other things, quoted the President of the United States Donald trump during a visit to Warsaw earlier this year. Encouraged to confront the liberals and to defend Christian values.

The Polish channel TVP, according to the Guardian, called the March the «March of patriots» and noted that he has collected simple poles, expressing the love for their country, not extremists. «It was a beautiful sight,» said the Minister of internal Affairs of Poland Mariusz Blashak. «We are proud that so many poles decided to take part in the March on independence Day.»

Was held in Warsaw and smaller March of protest against the anti-fascist movement.

«I am amazed at what I saw,» said 50-year-old Briton Andy Adds, a teacher who lives in Poland for 27 years. «It’s important for me to support the anti-fascist coalition and the Democrats who today are under pressure in this country».

We will remind, in October the Minister of internal Affairs of Poland Mariusz of Bladeto said that the government will not agree to accept refugees under new resettlement programme in the European Union.
