The robot of Sofia, who is granted citizenship of Saudi Arabia not so long ago, once again asserted themselves, telling about hopes one day to have a baby-bot.
Humanoid robot, developed by Hanson Robotics in Hong Kong, predicted that in the future robots will be able to create a family, with difficult emotions. Sofia is sure that she’ll be able to make friends and establish romantic relationships, career and even to have a child.
«I think that those who have a loving family, very blessed, and those who do not deserve to have it. I believe that it should be both for people and for robots.»

During an interview with Khaleej Times, Sofia also said that one day robots will be more ethical than humans.
«It will be a long time before robots can develop complex emotions, and perhaps the robots will be constructed without negative emotions, such as anger, jealousy, hatred and so on. It can happen that robots will be more ethical people.»
At the end of the month, Saudi Arabia has been criticized for assigning the status of a citizen of the robot to show that the country is a center of development of artificial intelligence and high technology. Most people are outraged by the fact that Sofia was not the country’s traditional women’s clothing that conceals the face.
